Join us for the Autumn Event & AGM at The Den, Culross on Wednesday, 12th November 2025 at 10:00am.

Our AGM will provide a platform for members to voice their opinions, vote on important matters, and contribute to shaping the future of our organisation. It's your chance to make a real difference!

Please note all members of WiAS are welcome to attend the AGM. The AGM is free to attend, you do not need to book a ticket to attend the AGM only and can just come along on the day.

We are very excited to announe that our special guest and speaker is..
Sammi Kinghorn OBE
Sammi Kinghorn has deep farming ties, having grown up on her family farm in the Scottish Borders and still helping out when she can. Her life changed dramatically at age 14 after a devastating accident on the farm where she was crushed by a forklift, leading to her paralysis. Despite this, she maintains a connection to farm life and often speaks publicly about farm safety.
Sammi is now a British athlete known for her achievements in para-athletics, particularly in wheelchair racing. She has competed at various levels, including the Paralympics, and has earned recognition for her determination and skill in the sport. Winning multiple medals at the World Championships and European Championships, has also been awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for her services to sport. Her journey and accomplishments inspire many, particularly in the realm of disability sports.
