Women for Kansas Lawrence/Douglas County Chapter will present Anne Parelkar speaking on “Immigration: Facts and Misunderstandings about the Path to Citizenship” on Saturday, Feb. 14, 10:30 AM at the Watkins Museum of History. After Anne’s presentation, we will have questions and discussion with the audience. Join us as we become more informed about our immigration policies and challenges in our state and nation; and discuss how we can encourage our legislators to address immigration in a humane and constitutional manner.Anne Parelkar of Parelkar Immigration Law, LLC is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri. Anne opened her immigration law practice in 2021. Before that she took cases as a solo practitioner for friends and family and stayed home with her children until they both started school.
