Women Entrepreneurs Investment Competition

Join Innovate UK EDGE for our first Women Entrepreneurs Investment Competition on December 1st, 2022.

The winner of this competition will benefit from a £150k investment guaranteed by SFC Capital. *

This event will aim to showcase some of the best female start-ups and SME’s pitching their ideas live to a panel of experienced investors and entrepreneurs. In addition to observing live pitches, attendees will also learn what investors really look for when investing in new companies.

Following the competition there will be a networking session with angel investors and VCs in attendence. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and interact with fellow entrepreneurs and investors in an engaging format.

To qualify to pitch to the panel, businesses must be innovative and either female founded or co-founded. If you wish to pitch, please submit your expression of interest by registering for the ‘Register your interest to pitch’ ticket type.

All genders are welcome to register their interest to attend.

Food and drinks will be available at the venue.

Investor panel

Adam Bev: Adam is a start-up founder and investor working with some of the UK's fastest growing start-ups and most active VC funds. As a founder, Adam conceptualised and scaled a SaaS platform in the travel and hospitality space, raising Series A investment. As an investor, he delivered on 30+ investments as part of SFC Capital and Just Eat Ventures.

Kari Chaudhry: Kari is an award-winning entrepreneur and investor based in London and New York City. Kari’s portfolio consists of a range of business ventures assisting brands launch and scale their businesses and is an investor in the consumer goods, fashion and manufacturing sectors. Kari’s clientele boasts from large corporations to start-ups to influential individuals including, celebrities and royalty. In 2019, she launched a highly curated business platform and investor club – The Atlantic Society, an inclusive and global membership community created to launch, accelerate and invest in the growth of businesses globally.
