About this Event
The Ghana Women’s Empowerment Summit is a pioneering Accor initiative dedicated to strengthening national response systems for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) through shelter support, advocacy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Rooted in compassion and justice, the program seeks to provide safe spaces for women and children affected by violence while advancing sustainable pathways to recovery, empowerment, and reintegration.
This year’s event, held under the theme “Breaking the Silence: Advancing Justice, Accountability and Support to End Gender-Based Violence,” will serve as a national platform to drive dialogue, commitment, and coordinated action among government institutions, civil society, corporate partners, and international agencies.
Key highlights will include addresses from the Vice President of the republic of Ghana, the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, and expert panel discussions. Through advocacy, awareness, and collective responsibility, the Ghana Women’s Empowerment Summit aims to amplify voices, promote accountability, and inspire lasting change to eliminate gender-based violence in Ghana and beyond.
We are confident that your presence at the event and continued leadership will inspire greater momentum in Ghana’s collective fight against Gender-Based Violence and serve as a beacon of hope for women and vulnerable groups across Africa.
