About this Event
When Manon Brulard left to cycle from Brussels to Tokyo, she took a camera with her and met other women cyclists along the way. Hear their stories at this screening of 'Women Don't Cycle' hosted by Queens of Pain.
The running time is 40 mins and there will be time for chatting after the screening. Those who would like to can join us in The Pear Tree afterwards!
Queens of Pain joins the calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine. We believe in cycling as a tool for change and we recognise the need for action in solidarity with Palestinians experiencing genocide at the hands of western colonial powers. We wanted to use this opportunity to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians - who work in partnership with Palestinian communities to uphold their rights to healthcare. The event will be pay what you can, suggested donation £5. You can either donate through eventbrite during the booking process, or bring some cash on the day. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
