We are thrilled to welcome Anu Apte, the visionary behind Seattle's acclaimed bars—Rob Roy and Navy Strength, as well as Vinnie’s Bottle Shop. Anu’s talent and passion have earned her a nomination for this year’s James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service, making this class an event you won't want to miss!
Discover the often-overlooked stories of women who have played pivotal roles in drinking culture, from Martha Washington and Colonial tavern owners to the trailblazers of the cocktail Renaissance in the early 2000s. This is your chance to honor their legacy while crafting and savoring delicious cocktails inspired by these remarkable women.
Hogwash Whiskey Den's master mixologist, Simon, will guide you through the ingredients with mixology lessons on using the barkeep's tools and techniques. Raising the Bar's resident historian, Renée, will illuminate the stories and history of the roles of women in cocktail culture.
