Guest Speaker - Dr. Libby M.D.
Topic: "How to Feel Great Now and Protect Yourself From Future Diseases." Health is simple if you give the body what it needs and remove what is causing it harm. Also, the body is designed to feel amazing; when it doesn't, there is always a reason. I aim to identify the reasons by looking at the four root causes of disease. I help people identify where they are in each of these four areas and move from abnormal to normal to optimal.
Bio : Dr. Libby Wilson is an M.D. with board certification in Family Practice. She graduated from Wright State School of Medicine in 2001 and then completed her 3-year Family Practice Residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in 2004. At graduation, she received the John Worthman, MD award honoring her “outstanding interpersonal skills, broad knowledge of medicine, and dedication to lifelong learning.”
She is also certified in functional medicine through The Institute of Functional Medicine and The Kalish Institute and is a certified life and weight loss coach through The Life Coach School. Dr. Libby lives in Troy, Ohio with Andy, her husband of 25+ years, two teenage daughters, Josie and Ainsely, and their golden retriever, Zipper. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, running, lifting weights, reading, and all things related to health and fitness. She’s completed two Ironman triathlons, the Boston Marathon, and the JFK 50-miler. She currently loves participating in CrossFit.
