Who This Event Is For:
This workshop is intended for women and gender expansive* riders, meaning that we welcome anyone who identifies as women, trans, femme, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, etc. to join us. While we like riding and talking bikes with the men in our lives, our goal for this event is to create a safe and empowering space for those who are typically marginalized in the mountain biking community. Hustle Hive’s mission is to bring together cyclists of different skill levels who share a passion for mountain biking, racing, and community building and workshops like this and partners like JRA Cycles allow us to do that.
*Gender expansive refers to any gender identity and/or gender expression that expands beyond, actively resists, and/or does not conform to the current cultural or social expectations of gender, particularly in relation to male or female (source: ).
Additional Notes:
- Indoor bicycle parking will be available.
- On-street parking only for cars, as the adjacent parking lot is not for JRA use.
