Please join us for what will be a fabulous evening with Siân Phillips and Rachel Donovan.Now a firm friend of Horsenden farm with four or five visits under her belt, Siân will be performing a new translation of Euripides' play "Women of Troy", in an adaptation that focuses exclusively on telling the stories of the women in the play.
It will be an outdoor performance in the courtyard of the old hayloft and stables, from the raised stage - an absolutely gorgeous location for a play.
There'll be cakes and tea and beer, and seats and benches and hay bales, with people welcome to bring picnic blankets or camping chairs. Pop-up canopy tents will be erected if it's looking like duck-friendly weather.
All profit from the show will go towards supporting the farm and charity Friends of Horsenden. Reduced rate tickets are available, please email [email protected] to arrange (no questions asked, we'd like this to be accessible to people regardless of their circumstances)
