Women and Nonbinary Video Game Industry Picnic - July 11th

This is a chance for women, femmes, and those not in the binary to get together, share their experiences, socialize and network at a Picnic.
About this Event

The folks of the ISNS are hosting another industry meet-up for women and nonbinary members of the gaming community on Thursday, July 11th, at Point Pleasant Park, at 5350 Point Pleasant Dr, Halifax, NS B3H 4P6.

This is a welcoming space for women, femmes, and those not in the binary, where everyone's voice is valued. It's a chance to socialize, share experiences, and encourage new developers to join the diverse and growing community of game devs in Nova Scotia. All levels of industry members are welcome, from students to indie developers to members of larger studios.

We would like this year's picnic to celebrate women and gender minorities in the industry. Therefore, we are opening up participation to all members of the ISNS, regardless of gender identity.

We will meet at 5:30 pm in front of the Bonaventure Anchor (Marked on the map) and attempt to find a nice place to sit by the water. Feel free to bring your own blanket/chair, and we will provide food, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and company!
