After getting cozy at the Shimmy Studio in Escondido, it feels right to keep dancing into the new year! I love how this location brings in ladies from so many surrounding areas! Vista, North County,Poway and Escondido; it's such an eclectic mix, and I love what we are stirring up! This 6-week series is progressive. Each week we'll explore movements that build upon each other in a safe container where our femininity & physical explorations can flourish! I share Belly Dance as a healing art form, blending elements of qi gong, playfulness, and ritual. Focuses include elongating the vertebrae, clearing stuck energy in the tummy, finding core stability, and cultivating a healthy integrated channel from the spine to the mind. Let's have fun moving in ways that help us tune into our sensuality, sassiness, and innate womb wisdom!
