In this session with facilitator Marta Reczek, we will be learning how to align with our menstrual cycle in a positive and joyful way. We will cover each of the four phases of the menstrual cycle and how to bring awareness and make changes to better support ourselves during each unique phase. If you struggle with your relationship to your period and the natural monthly fluxes of your hormones and energy, this is for you. If you want to deepen your relationship with your womb and don’t know where to start, this is for you. Wherever you are at with your cycle at this time in your life, we welcome you.
This session includes some light movement and pranayama (breath work), but no previous yoga experience is required. The wisdom of your womb already resides within you, give yourself the space and attention needed to tune into this powerful part of yourself and see what beauty it unlocks in your life. When women become more aligned with their menstrual cycles it can greatly benefit not just their physical health, but also their mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. This is the class you wished you had received as a preteen or young woman!
You’re welcome to bring a yoga mat (we have extra at the studio if needed), and a journal & pen. Chairs will be available as a seating option as well.
