About this Event
Join us for a sacred women's space to meet, unravel and hold space for one another.
Are you suffering from painful Fibroids? Endometritis? PCOS? Ovarian cysts? Heavy periods? Going through Menopause? Or are you generally wanting to spend some time to reconnect and come back into sync with your womb space?
This workshop is for you.
Over this afternoon we will spend time learning about practices to help heal our sacred space, moving the body and freeing the womb of negativity and shame. Coming into your own and embracing the divine feminine. To finish we will complete the workshop with a nourishing sound bath to allow a deeper level of healing to bring our beautiful afternoon to a close.
Tahira from Divine Flo Therapies will be sharing her wealth of knowledge about the womb and healing practices. She helps other women heal their womb space with the natural remedies and holistic practices of Mizan therapy.
Rose aka Black Rose Yogini will guide you through a variety of yoga postures and movements that allow you to get back in sync and reconnect with your womb. There will be some free/intuitive movement so we can move unapologetically and freely.
Ankhkara Akasana will take us on a journey through a nurturing, healing sound bath. She expresses herself beautifully with her divine connection to the feminine - this flows into her holistic practices that she offers including her sound healing. Feel the vibrations waft through you, allowing you to melt deeper and deeper into your subconscious and heal deep within.
This will be a beautiful gathering of like-minded women whom we can form connections with as we connect deeper to ourselves. Gathering in circles as women about matters of the womb is what our ancestors did, and so we shall continue this tradition - keeping it alive and present.
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing to be able to move freely in. Please also bring layers to keep warm and ensure you are comfy. There are also some heaters in the dome space that we will be in also.
Please bring:
A journal and pen - in case any thoughts arise, emotions come up and you wish to capture them.
Water - to stay hydrated
A yoga mat - (if you do not have one - I have a number of spares)
For the Sound Bath:
Bring any blankets, sleeping bags, eye masks, cosy socks, pillows, snoodies, a teddy bear! and anything that will help you to be comfortable and warm. We will be lying on the floor for a period of time for the sound bath. So we want you to be extra cosy, comfy and warm during this time. Don't be afraid to bring everything you need to be comfortable!
There will be chairs available if this is more comfortable for you.
Also for the movement if you wish to wear or bring anything that makes you feel good. Like belly dancing belt, favourite scarf, waist beads, belly chain, jingly anklets, favourite clothes etc. This is allow you to express yourself more freely and fun.
There will also be some light refreshments
