Join Maria Afouxenides, supported by Dorrie McFadden, for a Womb Blessing Ceremony, the 13th Rite of the Munay Ki.“Munay,” in Quechua, means “love,” and “Ki,” in Japanese, means Life Force energy. Thus, Munay-Ki can be interpreted as the life-force energy of love.
The Rite of the Womb is a sacred transmission from a lineage of Medicine carriers in the Peruvian Andes, passed to Marcela Lobos in 2014, who has since shared this blessing with women around the world.
This ceremony will activate energy in our Wombs, our creative centers. It’s for those seeking to connect with ancient womb wisdom, heal feminine energy, clear past relationship energies, support pregnancy, process pregnancy loss, heal from trauma, and/or foster sisterhood ♥️
Each participant will receive a limpia (energetic cleanse) with incense, herbs, hands-on healing, and sound before the blessing.
How to Prepare:
🌹 Minimize distractions the night before.
🌹 Eat fresh, nourishing foods; come with a light stomach.
🌹 Bring natural flowers for the altar.
🌹 Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow/cushion.
🌹 Bring water to drink.
🌹 Wear a skirt or dress.
Maria will also host an integration circle on Zoom on Tuesday, November 27th, from 8-9:30 PM to support any physical or emotional responses following the womb blessing. This gathering will provide space for sharing feelings, processing experiences, and asking questions, concluding with a Reiki session to further facilitate energy flow from the Womb Blessing.
