Jennifer Rabenstein has been facilitating and holding space for women through spiritual retreats for self-growth, healing, inspiring, creating, and building commUNITY. She is bringing in Jennifer Armerman, a 2nd degree black belt at Dillsburg Karate Academy, to contribute to this weekend experience where women who study/practice martial arts can come together to honor their stories. Every woman has a story.
Every woman who steps into martial arts has yet another layer to her story.
Has she cried in pain?
Has she experienced trauma?
Has she felt weak?
Is she on a path seeking who she is?
Does she have a mission?
What battles is she fighting?
What makes her the amazing warrior she is?
We will look inside to view our stories. We will acknowledge each of our stories. And together we will honor each woman and they story that is behind/infront of them.
Enjoy a weekend weaved together with supportive gatherings, self-reflection, nature time, activities, nourishing food, self-defense work for the body and mind, and more.
Friday, doors will open at 5pm, where we can connect over a potluck and then wind into opening the group for the weekend.
Saturday will be a full day of disconnecting with the outside world as we connect with ourselves and each other. All meals will be provided (and dipping into leftover potluck).
Sunday, enjoy breakfast and then we will bring closure to the weekend and be packed up and out around noon.
