Sisters of Nia is thrilled to present our first annual Woman on Fire Gala on October 20, 2024, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Dante Event Center in Sacramento. This extraordinary event will honor and celebrate the achievements of several trailblazing Black women who are significantly impacting the Sacramento area.
The Woman on Fire Gala is dedicated to honoring the extraordinary contributions of women who are making a powerful impact in our community. We are thrilled to present the Trailblazer Award to six inspiring women who have shown unwavering dedication, leadership, and passion in their respective fields:
- Dr. Flojaune Cofer
- Donna Berry
- Kairis Chiaji
- Veronne Clark
- Shaunta Mae Alexander
- Noelle Miller aka Noa Sanaa
Each of these phenomenal women has ignited change, uplifted others, and paved the way for future generations to follow. Their stories of resilience, courage, and success will leave you inspired and empowered.
All proceeds from the Woman on Fire Gala will benefit the programs at Sisters of Nia, supporting our mission to empower young women of color through education, mentorship, and leadership development.
