Woman in Architecture & Design

This dynamic women-led panel, hosted by Palomar College - RB and Moderated by Ginger Rabe, will dive into the evolving world of interior design and architecture, as we explore the intersection of Architecture, Sustainability, Interior Design, and Branding, and how these disciplines are shaping the future of our industry.

You will hear from Elizabeth Carmichael, a sustainable architect and owner of The Lab SD, who will share her journey as a woman business owner and discuss how sustainability informs her architectural projects. She’ll be joined by Sara Kilburn of The Mark Group, a top branding strategist within the design industry, who will explore how thoughtful branding and design go hand in hand. Rounding out the panel is Michelle Harrison-McAllister, a renowned interior designer and owner of Michelle Harrison Design, who will discuss how collaboration with architects bridges the creative gap and how her innovative interiors have helped shape and expand the multifamily design industry.
