Looking for a community to help you stay sane during Trump 2.0? In need of ideas for how to help preserve democracy and friends to do it with? Come to a WOMAN meeting!For our April meeting, members of the Great Lakes Bay Region chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be joining us. Our special guest will be State Rep. Amos O'Neal from Saginaw, who has been a champion for gun safety legislation. He will be sharing about his work in the state legislature.
There is a lot going on and it can be hard to know where to start taking action. WOMAN is connected to Indivisible groups around the state and we have lots of ways that you can take action.
Persons of any gender identity are welcome.
Our agenda usually includes time for community building as well as information about what's going on and where we can make a difference. We often have speakers about relevant topics and we hear from elected officials.
Beverages are available to purchase from our MI Element hosts, Tony and Suzanne. Coffee, tea, beer, and bottled sodas available. Anyone is welcome to bring snacks to share.
