WOMAD South Africa has announced the lineup for its 2025 festival, set to take place at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town from September 23rd to 29th. The festival will feature a diverse range of international and local artists, including Zimbabwe's Devine Mahara, along with Ned Evett (US), Pepe Voltarelli and Luca Ciarla (Italy), Entropica (Chile), Alicia Edelweiss (Austria), Toty Sa'Med (Angola), Everaldo Creary (Jamaica), and Last Jeronimo (Mexico). Local acts like The Rudimentals and Ragas Beyond Borders will also be performing. The festival will conclude with a collaborative performance featuring Dwayne Dopsie, Damon Batiste, Dizu Plaatjies, Muneeb Hermans, Mansoor Joseph, and the Cape Minstrels. Peppe Voltarelli and Luca Ciarla form a truly unique duo in the Italian music scene.
