Wolsey Orchestra is excited to return to The Apex again in February 2025 for a terrific concert under the direction of superb conductor, Richard Laing.Our concert opens with the dramatic and magnificent bridal procession music from Wagner's Lohengrin, Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral. Bravura and exuberance follow in refreshingly beautiful tunes from Bizet's Carmen; perhaps the most popular opera ever written. After the interval, we present Rimsky-Korsakov's triumph of exotic atmosphere, Scheherazade - his musical depiction of One Thousand and One Arabian Nights.
