The Wollongong Makers Market is back at the UOW Innovation Campus on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, 9am to 3pm. This UPbeat artisan market is Wollongong’s premier handmade shopping precinct, showcasing a fabulously diverse range of individually designed goods in time for the Christmas season. Entry is free, and it only happens twice a year, so don't miss out!
Enjoy UPlifting live jazz while browsing over 100 artisan stalls of exceptional quality. Choose from fine silver jewellery, ceramics, glassware, woodwork, paintings and prints, photography, macrame, crochet and sewing, candles and scents plus so much more.
We have a plethora of fantastic painters and printmakers joining our November market, and will be opening a new area, the Enterprise Gallery, where you can find quality larger artworks from six prominent local artists from the Illawarra region.
Take the time to relax and enjoy the different spaces and levels of the market, feast on an international selection of foods for breakfast or lunch, sit in one of the UOW Innovation Campus cafes and be surrounded by talent of your local artisans.
There's plenty of free parking on the campus grounds, or you can reach the market by riding or walking the cycleway along Squires Way.
