Born from the heart of the Midwest, Wolfskill & The Wild began as the pairing of a classically trained violinist and a storytelling troubadour, crafting songs rooted in Iowa’s Driftless Area. Now joined by a jazz-trained stand-up bassist and a dynamic drummer/percussionist, the band has expanded into a rich, full-bodied ensemble.
Once described as “a smooth & silky pour,” their sound fuses alternative folk, contemporary strings, and experimental ambience into an authentic, bold, and captivating musical experience.
Trailblazers in their respective indie-folk scene, Wolfskill & The Wild have shared the stage with artists including Son Little, The Arcadian Wild, The Ballroom Thieves, and Chicago Farmer—inviting audiences into a soundscape that’s as grounded as it is adventurous. �
