Night hikes in the winter are much different than in the summer. With no leaves on the trees, the moon’s light is able to penetrate through the forest canopy, illuminating the winter landscape.Join the park ranger for a 2.5-mile night hike around the Wolf Creek inlet by the light of the first full (Wolf) moon of the year.
Meet at the Millennium Trailhead and remember to bundle up in layers and warm boots. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight or headlamp. We will hike by the light of the moon and use the lights only if it is cloudy.
In case of inclement weather please call 931-982-3918 for cancellations. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
