Managers, consultants, lawyers, accountants, HR Directors, inclusion officers, department heads, and other professionals who intend to lead by cultivating happiness on the individual and organizational levels to foster employee engagement, increase sales, and improve client relationships and customer service.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgency to invest in employee wellbeing.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

As a Chief Happiness Officer, you will gain competencies in four areas: Positive Self-Leadership; Stress, Engagement & Flow; Hiring & Training for Happiness; and Managing Positive Organizations.

Plenary and breakout sessions will alternate, allowing participants to apply, in small groups, the concepts and competencies learned during this intensive weekend. Special guest industry leaders will join participants and share successful practices and processes of positive organizations.

Participants will receive a 70-page comprehensive CHO Competencies Notebook where they will design the right happiness practices for their organization supported by one or more of the four core competencies of a CHO. Includes final Certification Project to implement teachings into practice.

The 3-day content intensive not-for-credit certification program covers, among other subjects and tools: (24 hours of content)

ABOUT THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Dr. Sandro Formica is an international speaker, author, and professor at Florida International University, at Bocconi Business School and the University of Palermo. He teaches “Strategic Management in Hospitality & Tourism,” “The Economics of Happiness,” “Positive Organizations,” and “Personal Empowerment.” His highly experiential, non-traditional teaching strategies have proven to be effective with professionals, entrepreneurs, as well as students in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
