WHO IS IT FOR?

Managers, consultants, lawyers, accountants, HR Directors, inclusion officers, department heads, and other professionals who intend to lead by cultivating happiness on the individual and organizational levels to foster employee engagement, increase sales, and improve client relationships and customer service.

WHY GET CERTIFIED:

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgency to invest in employee wellbeing.

By focusing mainly on external results associated with stressors we miss the opportunity to improve work productivity, performance and health. Instead, we can invest in internal solutions that can positively impact overall employee wellbeing, increasing innovation threefold, productivity by 31% , employee engagement 10X(HBR), and decrease burnout by 125% (Greenberg & Arawaka). A highly engaged workforce has a 41% reduction in absenteeism, 21% increase in productivity, and 24-59% less turnover (Gallup). Positively transforming organizations involves fostering a language of wellbeing, aligning values, connecting with meaning and communicating success.

We train the new wave of leaders, equipping them with the tools to initiate positive and lasting change within organizations.

Positive managers are top performers, both at the individual and organizational level. Research by top academic institutions has demonstrated that happiness practices, aligned with personal and collective growth, values, and purpose, have positive effects on satisfaction and resilience, thus strengthening innovation, participation, trust, and retention. The positive domino effect sparked by positive practices inevitably fuels job performance and increases firm productivity.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

As a Chief Happiness Officer, you will gain competencies in four areas: Positive Self-Leadership; Stress, Engagement & Flow; Positive Relationships at Work; and Managing Positive Organizations.

Plenary and breakout sessions will alternate, allowing participants to apply, in small groups, the concepts and competencies learned during this intensive weekend. Special guest industry leaders will join participants and share successful practices and processes of positive organizations.

Industry guests speakers every day.

Participants will receive a comprehensive CHO Resources Guide as well as a workbook with practical exercises to help design the right wellbeing practices for their organizations.

The 3-day content intensive not-for-credit certification program covers, among other subjects and tools: (24 hours of content)
