The Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta at Wofford College is proud to announce that we will be hosting our 11th annual Shamrock & Shuck on Thursday, October 10th. The event will be held at Wofford College from 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm. We are extending, to you, an incredible opportunity to join our mission to make a lasting impact on America’s future by standing with Kappa Delta Sorority to promote the well-being of children in Spartanburg and across the country.
Kappa Delta joins chapters throughout the nation every year in efforts to support the prevention of child abuse. This year 20% of the proceeds from Shamrock & Shuck will go to Prevent Child Abuse America. PCAA is the designated national Kappa Delta philanthropy. Founded in 1972, PCAA has been the leading advocate for preventing child abuse and neglect among our nation’s children. The remaining 80% of funds raised will go to a local organization, Hope Center for Children. Hope Center for Children builds stable, healthy families and provides children with a safe place from abuse and neglect. They also work with at risk homes, specializing in educational and preventative cases of child abuse in the Spartanburg community. With your help, we can continue to make an impact on the lives of children by strengthening families both in our community and nationwide. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000 for the prevention of child abuse.
