October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donors are needed to help ensure blood and platelets are on the shelves for cancer patients and others who rely on transfusions for care. The American Red Cross of South Carolina encourages eligible donors to make an appointment at the blood drive on Monday, October 14th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Donors will have the opportunity to help save lives at the Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach and the Magnolia Mall in Florence.
