Please join us at our upcoming Lunch and Learn program on January 27, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM.
Two senior air dispersion modelers—Stephanie Hengesbach (Air Quality Division, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy [EGLE]) and Brian Leahy (Barr Engineering)—will present timely and practical insights on air dispersion modeling issues affecting Michigan-based facilities.
Topics will include:
- Current EPA policy and implementation guidance
- EGLE Policy and Procedure No. AQD-022
- Nonattainment designation implications
- EGLE’s recently published modeling guidance documents
- Current and proposed air impact thresholds
- Challenges associated with cumulative impacts analyses
- Requirements under Michigan’s air toxics policy
- Tools and techniques to refine air dispersion modeling analyses
The session will conclude with dedicated time for audience questions and discussion.
