This is more than just a book. “The Legacy” is the first official publication of the World Kickboxing and Karate Association — a powerful chronicle of how our organisation rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected and democratic martial arts federations in the world. It is a story of struggle, vision, reform, and triumph.
As its author, I had the privilege of documenting not only the historical milestones of WKA but also the values that define who we are today: unity, fairness, and global excellence.
This publication was part of the work that led to my recognition at the House of Lords, where I received the King’s Award for Excellence 2025 in Sports Sciences — a title that belongs as much to all of you as it does to me. Your dedication, your sacrifices, and your passion for martial arts are the true foundation of this legacy.
This is your moment to stand beside the story — to own it, to honour it, and to share it.
