Wizard of Oz is a musical, but most roles do not sing alone. If your child does not wish to sing a solo, please indicate on the registration notes section. The script will be used as a teaching tool to introduce kids to theatrical concepts and vocabulary, teamwork and self-reliance. Kids will rehearse a 20-minute version of the popular musical, 2-3 songs plus a few lines of dialogue to connect them. Students will be working with a professional director, choreographer and vocal coach. Students should dress to move and bring their own water bottle and snack for each class. A final performance for parents and invited guests will take place at the end of the final camp day.
