What: Auditions for Anderson Mainstage Theatre's Wizard of OzWho: All actors age 5 and up
When: Jan 31 and Feb.1
Kid Actors age 5 - 15 yrs will audition Jan 31 from 11am to 1 pm
Actors age 16+ will audition Jan 31 and Feb 1 from 2 pm to 5 pm
Anyone auditioning for the Role of Dorothy should attend one of the Adult audition times
If needed, callbacks will be Sunday February 1 at 5:30 pm

Please bring with you to auditions any conflicts starting February 16 to April 26, including Saturdays, any allergies (pet, food, makeup/latex), and any special skills. A real dog will be used for Toto so let the directors know if you have any fear of dogs.
Wizard of Oz is one of the 5 shows in the AMT regular season and is not part of the Mainstage Theatre Youth Program. Not all who audition may be cast.
All auditioners should prepare a funny story to tell and be ready to read from the sides of the show. Those wanting a singing role should also prepare 16 bars of a song of your choice. A dance audition is not required but those wishing to be included in the Jitterbug scene are welcome to prepare a short demonstration. Many roles are open to any gender. The following roles will be played by the same actor:
Aunt Em/Glinda
Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard
The Farmhands/Scarecrow, Tinman, Lion
Ameila Gulch/Wicked Witch
Professor Chester Marvel/The Wizard of Oz
