Witness to Courage: Respect Diversity Foundation's 25th Anniversary
Twenty-five years ago, Michael Korenblit, son of Holocaust survivors and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma, founded the Respect Diversity Foundation, an organization devoted to teaching people of all ages from children to seniors how taking the time to know and understand someone different from ourselves transforms us and the world around. Since that time, Mike and Joan and a host of respected diversity speakers has reached almost half a million individuals with personal, lived stories that celebrate our differences while promoting mutual respect and protection for all of us.
Now, more than ever, as diversity itself is under attack and many individuals and groups are targeted and harmed, we need each other for understanding, for support, for community, for light in the darkness. Please join us for a brief moment of celebration of this work, one filled with stories of courage, hope, and our deep need to be seen and supported where we are for who we are.
