WITI Annual Networking Event

Welcome to the USDOT, Great Lakes SBTRC’s first annual WITI Networking Event! The Great Lakes SBTRC is excited to host an event where women in the transportation industry across the Great Lakes region will be able to connect. This event is a part of our Women and Girls in Transportation Initiative (WITI),  and was put together by our Advisory Committee, composed of about 20 women across 5 states. This event adheres to the mission of the initiative, to increase the level of participation of women in the transportation industry. Our committee identified a major hurdle being little opportunity for networking and spaces for women in the industry to come together.

The purpose of this event is to connect women in the industry across trades and positions. We invite you to register if you are anywhere from beginning your journey as a woman in the industry, to having decades of experience. This is the space in the midwest for women in transportation to connect, innovate and share knowledge together over a great atmosphere, food and drinks. This is a limited event, so please register early as spots remain!
