The Withlacoochee Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K are on the hiking and horse trails within the Two Mile Prairie Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest in Lecanto, FL. The race starts and finishes at the Bear Head Hammock Trailhead.BIB PICKUP:
Sunday, April 19, 2026. Registration begins 1 hour before the race starts.
START TIMES:
Marathon - 7:00am
Half Marathon - 8:00am
10K - 8:30am
The course will stay open until 2:00pm
Camping:
The Bear Head Hammock Recreational Area has primitive camping sites in the equestrian campground. However, there isn’t a water or power source in the park, so plan accordingly. We have reserved the entire campground and runners are welcome to set up tents, car camp, or RV “boondock” camp using a generator on Saturday. (3 pm - 7 pm)
