Samhain is a Pagan festival from an ancient Celtic spiritual tradition. It is used to welcome in the harvest and usher in the "dark half of the year". It's believed that the barriers between the physical world and the spiritual world break down during this time, allowing more interaction between us and the spirits from the other side.
