This confident beginner-friendly sewing project is perfect for those ready to stretch their skills a little further. You’ll cut, shape, and construct a fully wearable hat, choosing from sweet florals, festive Halloween prints, or classic solids to match your style.
When you register, you’ll receive the pattern link. Students are required to print and prep the pattern, then cut fabric and interfacing to the pattern pieces before class to ensure plenty of time for sewing. If you need help with pattern printing, prep, or fabric cutting, reach out to Snippets for assistance during studio hours.
You’ll leave class with a finished hat that’s equal parts whimsical accessory and handmade statement piece.
Note: Snippets is a cozy sewing studio. You are welcome to bring travel-size cutting and pressing stations for your work area, and we also provide communal cutting and pressing stations to help save space. Students are welcome to use the refrigerator and microwave during class. Please be aware that while Snippets is open to the public, it is not a full retail space and may not be fully accessible for wheelchairs. Restroom can be difficult to maneuver.
