Join Dr. Samantha Misa from the Delaware County Historical Association for a talk on her book, Witches of the Catskills, where attendees will hear stories regarding historic accounts of witchcraft in the Catskill Mountains. Witches of the Catskills explores a number of historical legends, myths, and stories regarding witchcraft in this “spellbound region.” Samantha’s text highlights 13 such stories, with tales ranging from cursed cattle to bewitched cats. Several of these stories will be explored in her talk.
This program is for Adults and teens 16+.
Samantha will be on hand to sign copies of the book and books will be available for sale at $10 each.
