There's a few nonnegotiable elements of Witch Crafting Nights: Safety, safety, and safety. One, my apartment is a safe space for my friends, and I only invite trusted people and vouched-for individuals. So if you're invited, you're in the gang, and I trust you. Be as cool as I know you are.
Two, I super don't care if you drink or not; I'll have plenty of options for either choice. But if you're imbibing, I insist on a double D (designated driver), or you can always spend the night...I have a futon and a couch that may be claimed as an alternative.
Three, please please please reach out with any comfort-questions or requests. I can always accommodate. I love you.
So we'll be watching witch movies (Crafting and the Craft was an alternate title of the event; be prepared for some fantastic films) and making witches brooms and wreathes with all the fabulous halloween and harvest-inspired, dollar store supplies. As people who've been to my place before know, you are NEVER obligated but always welcome to chip in or bring something to share. Believe me, we will not be bereft of tasty vittles and art supplies. What I really want is YOU.
If there's anything you'd love to have, dietary concerns, or allergens you need to avoid, speak up! I have a hairless dog (he's a jerk and will be chilling in the bedroom) and two cats (the siamese is friendly, the blue calico is shy as hell), but they can be put away from the party area if you're uncomfortable and/or allergic.
Finally, as soon as possible, let me know if you’re interested! The more advance notice I have, the better prepped I will be. I'm excited to see you folks! Happy pre-Halloween!
