Hanging them in windows or gardens was thought to trap and contain any harmful energy that entered a home or space, thus protecting its occupants from harm.
Today, witch balls are often used as they are still seen as having a protective and purifying force and are commonly used in spiritual practices.
Create your own witch's ball with your own specific intention in mind. Balls are 3.15 inch glass that can be hung in your home (recommend indoor only). Options of intentions include protection/cleansing, prosperity, or positive energy. You will be guided through a selection of herbs, botanicals, and crystals for your ball that corresponds to the desired intention you choose.
