We're eagerly anticipating the 2025 Skills Day at Western Iowa Tech Community College. Please ensure you thoroughly review the guidelines and rules to understand the responsibilities of participants. Upon arrival, each student must check in. Participants competing in the main building will use ENTRACE 6. Welding and Auto Tech competitiors will check in at the Industrial Tech Center (off of Gordon Drive). Lunch will be provided for everyone in the Rocklin - on main campus.
As the competition date draws near, we will send more information such as campus maps and instructions for drop off and bus parking, etc. Please make sure each student has a signed competition waiver by a parent or guardian before April 4th at 5:00. Forms can be emailed to [email protected]. You MUST have these completed and sent to the recruitmetn team before April 4th or you riskc looking your spots in the competition.
When signing up on Eventbrite, educators are required to register all of their students. This helps us with tracking. In Eventbrite select the number of students you would like to register, fill in the appropriate information for each student and which competition they will be entering in. Example: 10 students registering, 6 for Auto Body and 4 for Welding, you would enter 10 tickets and then enter the individual student information along with competition selection from the dropdown menu on the next screen.
There are 16 competitions this year! We have something for everyone! Great opportunity for students to earn scholarship money to attend WITCC!

Winners will receive a scholarship to Western Iowa Tech (to be used Fall after their senior year). 1st place: $1,000; 2nd place: $750; 3rd place: $500
