30 years ago, on October 8th, 1995, PBS first answered the question, "What's the story, Wishbone?" & millennial children across America were instantly hooked on the show about a little dog who made us fall in love with classic literature. On the anniversary of Wishbone's premier, we want to celebrate the show that introduced us to Mary Shelley, Washington Irving, Shakespeare, The Odyssey, Faust, Mark Twain, & so much more, with a big party all benefitting local pups at Kansas City Pet Project! Bring your four legged friend to the bookshop where we will have a Wishbone themed dog costume contest, a best trick contest, dog & human treats, & we'll be screening Wishbone episodes.
