Welcome to our WISH x SOPE December Event! Join us for an evening of networking with the Women in Science and Healthcare Network and the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs.

Our guest speaker will be Elina Lavit, a highly accomplished Biotech Executive with a proven track record in leadership roles. Nowadays she is a Strategy & Operations and Corporate Development Consultant. In her last role Elina headed Business Development at OncoNano Medicine (Biotech start up developing delivery technologies for solid tumors). During her tenureship at OncoNano Elina drove strategic partnerships and business development activities to support continued growth. Elina relocated to the DFW area from the San Francisco Bay area to join Taysha Gene Therapies as Executive Director, Program Management. At Taysha Gene Therapies she led alliance management, strategy, and execution for one of the company’s leading assets.

Previously, she served as Director of Program Management at Myokardia (acquired by BMS) providing strategic program management support for a first-in-class drug candidate in cardiovascular space. She gained significant strategic collaboration experience while working at Pharmacyclics, AbbVie, and Ethicon (a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson).

Elina earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Biology and Master of Science in Medical Science from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
