We are happy to welcome Adam from Wise of The Woods have a pop-up at Shop Zero! Pop in on Saturday 6th of July and check out the amazing and one of a kind hand crafted items made from foraged materials. Words from the maker: "I create handcarved functional wooden ware using traditional craft processes, all of the material is foraged locally from windfall and conservation work.
It is slow, mindful woodcarving, moving away from industrialised mass production.
Working in harmony and in sympathy with materials - I go with the flow of the grain and adapt, evolve and respond to the fibres and knots within the wood.
Each piece is an individual sculptural object for daily use. A lot of consideration is given to how they feel and perform.
There is a great joy and comfort in using wooden bowls and spoons, a different sound and sensation when dining."
We are looking forwards to having the maker at our shop on Friar Lane on Saturday 6th of july! There will be a selection of cooking and eating spoons, bowls, cups, spreader knives and bag clips.
