The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing a pavement replacement project along WIS 181 (84th Street) from Greenfield Avenue to Adler Street and along WIS 59 (Greenfield Avenue/National Avenue) from 84th Street to 56th Street in Milwaukee County. Construction on these projects is tentatively scheduled for 2029 and 2030, as shown in the cover image. Proposed improvements: replace roadway pavement and storm sewer, replace traffic signals within project limits, replace curb ramps to meet ADA standards, and improve bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.
Join WisDOT for a public involvement meeting to learn more about the project, get your questions answered, and provide input to the project team on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 5-7 p.m. in the West Allis City Hall Council Chambers (7525 W. Greenfield Ave.).
