Accommodations, Travel & Meals:
Nestled on 20 private acres in the rolling hills of Castleton, Ontario, Mystic Avenue Retreat Centre offers a serene and sacred setting for deep transformation. Surrounded by forest, a peaceful pond, a walking labyrinth, and multiple fire circles, the property also features a sauna and swim spa for full-body renewal. Accommodations include private, semi-private, and dorm-style rooms to suit every preference. Our on-site chef prepares nourishing meals with care, accommodating all dietary needs. Located just one hour east of the GTA, Mystic Avenue is easily accessible, with VIA Rail service to Cobourg and pickup available. Rideshare options are also facilitated upon request. The retreat centre welcomes up to 11 overnight guests, with some retreats capped at smaller numbers to ensure an intimate and enriching experience.
Who Should Attend & What to Expect:
This retreat is for women who feel called to honour the sacred transition into the Crone phase of life—whether approaching it, living it, or reclaiming it. You can expect a powerful blend of ritual, creativity, rest, and deep self-inquiry. Through guided trance journeys, fire ceremonies, group sharing, and time in nature, you'll be supported in releasing old roles and embracing the wisdom, strength, and sovereignty of your Crone self. All experiences are held in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental space, with space to go inward and be witnessed by others on the same path.
Registration Information:
Registration is $350 for those who sign up by October 10th. After that date, the fee is $425. HST applies to all fees. To support accessibility, we offer flexible payment plans and a sliding scale for those who may need financial support. Meet the Facilitators:
Charlie Smoke is a ceremonialist and dedicated spiritual practitioner with years of experience guiding women’s circles. A Sundancer whose path is deeply rooted in Indigenous traditions, she carries forward teachings that honour the sacredness of life, the cycles of nature, and the sacred feminine. Her ceremonies inspire healing, resilience, and transformation while fostering a deep sense of belonging to self, to others, and to the Earth
Rev. Kim Etherington is a Metaphysical Minister with over 20 years of experience in the field of personal growth and spirituality. Her work is rooted in guiding others through meaningful life transitions, with a special focus on women’s journeys through the sacred stages of Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Now fully embracing her Crone years, Kim celebrates the wisdom, freedom, and power this phase offers, and is passionate about creating spaces for other women to do the same.
