About this Event
In honor of Women's History Month, Wisdom Institute will gather in celebration of the legacy, wisdom, and enduring contributions of Black Birthworkers—guardians of birth, nurturers of community, and carriers of ancestral knowledge. Rooted in the principles of Healing Justice, our gathering creates sacred space for collective restoration, storytelling, advocacy, and deep appreciation for the care traditions that have sustained Black women and families for generations.
Through a sacred tea party, guided by a community-based herbalist, we will honor the plant medicine and healing practices that have long been integral to Black Birthwork. Together, we reclaim the wisdom of our ancestors, affirm the power of holistic care, and cultivate a space where Black women and girls can rest, heal, and be nourished—SpiritMindBody.
This gathering is an offering of deep love, a testament to our resilience, and a commitment to honoring and preserving the legacies of Black Birthworkers past, present, and future.
