Lending PanelThis session will be an open discussion on lending, covering everything from financing strategies to industry insights. We’ll start with introductions from each speaker, giving them a chance to share their background and expertise. From there, the conversation will be driven by your questions, allowing us to dive into the topics that matter most to the group. Expect an engaging, interactive session that typically runs about an hour.
Our Panelist: Jordan Smith, Jeff Cichocki, Nic Campbell, Mike Martell
• Jordan Smith is the VP of Commercial Lending – Green Bay. With over 10 years of Commercial Lending experience, he has a strong background in C&I business underwriting and CRE loan origination. His expertise lies in large CRE construction and re-development projects across the country, with deal sizes ranging from $1MM to $50MM+. He is an active member of NAIOP, AANW, and WiscoREIA, and is also involved in the community through Junior Achievement. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from UW-La Crosse. In his free time, he enjoys hunting with his dog, Bocephus, as well as camping and curling.
• Jeff is a 20-year veteran of RE. Jeff’s a local Hard Money Lender and active investor who’s been involved over 2,000 transactions. His favorite way to buy, sell and hold is through creative strategies and techniques.
• Nic Campbell, also known as The Money Man. Nic began his career in mortgage lending back in 2003 and has since built an outstanding reputation for excellence. He co-manages and originates loans at the Green Bay and Appleton branches of Nations Lending, consistently ranking in the Top 1% of all mortgage originators nationwide for both closed transactions and customer service.
Beyond his professional success, Nic is a dedicated family man. He lives in Appleton with his wife, their 14-year-old daughter, and their 11-year-old son.
• Originally from Two Rivers, Mike and his wife Kathryn (from Brillion) have been married for over 30 years. They have three grown children all living in the upper Midwest. After 25 + years in the kitchen and bath industry working in sales and sales management for a couple of large companies, Mike retired to Door County with Kathryn in June of 2018.
Mike and Kathryn’s interest in real estate began in 1986 with their first duplex, an upper/lower in Wauwatosa, purchased on a land contract. Over the years they moved all over the Midwest chasing the corporate dream but always looking, buying, and updating properties, focused on kitchen and bath remodels. They purchased flips, buy and holds, tried their hand at land development, historic renovations and buying bank owned properties. Today they are focused on vacation rentals and private money lending.
