Thursday, October 16, 2025 | 5:30PM – 7:00PMIn celebration of UW Madisons’ Science Festival, join the museum staff to learn about thermal shock in the creation of glass art. Students will observe how thermal shock works in different types of glass and how it handles the change in temperature. Through science exploration, students will come away with their own thermally shocked glass magnet.
