About this Event
Welcome to the Wisconsin Balance of State September Summit!
Join us for a powerful day of insightful discussions, meaningful networking, and engaging collaborative workshops—all taking place at the beautiful Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells.
Our featured guest is: Tash Mae!
Tasha Mae is a nationally recognized advocate, strategist, and speaker whose work centers on systems navigation, client empowerment, and frontline service transformation. As the founder and Chief Advocate of Advocacy Queen, she brings over 17 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, direct service, and public speaking. A former single mother who successfully navigated off systems of support, Tasha blends professional expertise with lived experience—training service providers to cut through red tape, hold systems accountable, and equip clients to advocate for themselves. She has delivered advocacy trainings across the country, including for shelters, school districts, hospitals, and community collaboratives. Tasha’s dynamic approach challenges burnout culture and re-centers purpose, strategy, and impact. Her signature Advocacy Excellence Training is built on real-world tools that empower professionals to navigate systems more effectively—without enabling dependency.
She will be providing Advocacy Excellence Training for Service Providers: a comprehensive, interactive, full day training session designed for service providers across Wisconsin. Participants will receive an Advocacy Excellence Certificate upon completion.
