About this Event
Summary
We are delighted to present a programme of CPD designed to support the development and delivery of an excellent science curriculum. The 10 sessions include 3 Subject Leader sessions covering areas specific to the network, followed by 7 sessions which examine the primary science curriculum in each individual year group. This includes identifying misconceptions in that year group, strategies to enable you to reconstruct those misconceptions and ways to embed scientific enquiry through the curriculum. Thus, developing scientists throughout their primary journey.
Each session is aimed at science leaders and/or class teachers and will involve participant tasks, consider ‘what this might look like in the classroom’ and signpost additional resources.
